The previous winter low laying areas of the fields where filled with rainwater and then frozen to ice. Autumn sowed seedlings of wheat died and on not to heavily herbicide-sprayed fields there are now nice flowering spots instead.

In a week or so they will be over. I am surprised that such a tall orchid can bloom so early in the forest. I am glad that I could catch them in time this year. (Double exposure in camera).

Evening comes very early in Sweden at this time of the year. These pictures were photographed at Lårstaviken in Lake Mälaren at about 15:30 the other day.
